Paralegal Title Services, LLC owner Julia Compagna holds an Associate of Arts degree and Paralegal Certification from University of New Hampshire, Durham; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Studies: Pre-Law from Johnson State College, Johnson, Vermont; and Certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution from University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. Author of "The Consumer's Guide to Buying and Developing Land in Vermont" she has over twenty years experience with land use issues. She served six years as Co-Chair of the Morristown, Vermont Planning Commission and over eleven years as Hyde Park Vermont's Town Administrator. She has extensive experience in a variety of environmental permitting areas including Act 250, zoning, wastewater/water supply, stormwater and highway access. She served as Hyde Park's Judicial Officer during her tenure and as a member of the Vermont League of Cities & Towns Quality of Life Legislative Advisory Committee. In 2012 she was appointed Guardian Ad Litem by Judge James Mahoney, serving the Lamoille County Probate Court. She served as an intern with Senator William Doyle during the 2013 legislative session. In 2014 she was appointed by the Vermont Judiciary as an after-hours contractor for Relief from Abuse filings. She is an Associate Member of the Vermont Bar Association; Student Associate Member of the American Bar Association and volunteers with the Vermont Volunteer Lawyers Project.
